Somali Health and environment Foundation (SHEF) was Established on 7th July 2024,by experts, doctors, environmental experts and intellectuals emerged as a response to the unique challenges and opportunities facing behind widespread loss, destruction, and depleted land resources, livelihoods and to re-establish health services. The materialization of Somali Health and environment foundation(SHEF) strengthened the endowment and mobilization of crucial
humanitarian assistance and livelihood support when only a handful of actors were available on the ground. In addition helps maintenance of orphanage in terms of food, education and rehabilitation.
Over the years, SHEF has evolved into a multifaceted organization, offering a range of programs and services designed to address the evolving needs of the community. From health
initiatives and environmental protection and natural disasters. In response, SHEF expanded its reach beyond SSC territorial Administration, establishing offices in Lasanod and Buhodle to coordinate humanitarian aid, development projects, and community outreach efforts in thoseareas.
